West Central Valley Boys’ Golf Coach and AD, David Doely, has reason to be proud. His goal of advancing his best golfer to state, Sophomore, Grant Caltrider, came to fruitition this week.

Caltrider shot an 82 in the Class 2A Boys’ District Golf Meet, which was good enough to qualify him for the State Golf Meet. Caltrider will be the lone Wildcat competing in the State Tournament, and will represent the West Central Activities Conference, along with Panorama.

The 2A State Golf Meet gets underway on Thursday morning at 10:30am in Marshalltown from the American Legion Memorial Golf Course, and will continue on Friday at 8:00am.
