Roland Story defeated Perry 4-2 in the season opener in high school baseball Monday night.  Perry managed just two hits on the night with Kaleb Olejniczak and Quinn Helmers providing singles.  Olejniczak and Kato Dougan scored the only Perry runs.  Helmers drove in a run while Dougan scored a wild pitch.  Avery Miester went four strong innings while Dougan provided relief out of the bullpen.  Perry will host North Polk at the PAC tonight in the home opener of the 2019 season.  KDLS will have the call starting at 7:30.
