With the 2019 Greene County Fair coming up in July, the deadline is fast approaching for those wanting to participate in the County Fair Queen Contest.

Applicants must be female and at least 16-years-old-but not more than 21, and never been married or have children. Candidates must also reside in Greene County or an adjoining county if the majority of her activities take place in Greene County. The applicant must also be a member of at least one worthwhile organization.

Interested individuals must fill out a form, which can be picked up from organizer Ann Cunningham at 114 South Wilson Avenue in Jefferson, at the Greene County High School office, Paton-Churdan School building, or by clicking the link below. Forms must be returned to Cunningham by May 31st. Judging will then take place at a later date. For more information, contact Cunningham at 515-386-8198.
