Interested in playing music in an outdoor setting?

Springbrook State Park is hosting the Western Iowa Folk Group for a jam session from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the campground gazebo. Iowa Department of Natural Resources Training Specialist Anne Riordan says this event is free and open to the public, “Any level of musician (is welcome), it’s unplugged but it’s from just learning how to play something, to people who play professionally, to people who just want to come and listen. So that’s really a neat thing to have here and we’ve had them out here a few times.”

The group typically meets one Tuesday a month at various locations in Guthrie County. For more information on the group visit here.
