Friday will be another busy day for the Track and Field teams of ADM High School from Adel as the Boys’ and Girls’ are back in the capital city for the State Track Meet at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.

Running down the schedule of events that the Tigers are represented in today is an extensive list.

Lucas Heitz will get things started for ADM at 9:40 with the 110 Meter High Hurdles, followed by Anna Kenny in the 100 Meter Hurdles at 10:00. A relay will follow in the next hour, as the ADM Girls’ 4×200 Relay team runs at 10:50.

Lucas Heitz will then compete again at 11:20 in the Boys’ 400 Meter Hurdles. Olivia Tollari, an ADM Freshman, will be in action at 11:30 in the Girls’ Long Jump. Two more Tigers will compete before the lunch hour in the Girls’ 400 Meter Hurles with Anna Kenny and Abby Gonzales.

Just one event is scheduled for ADM in the afternoon session, as the Girls’ 4×400 Meter Relay team will run at 1:20.
