After today, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Class of 2019 will be officially done with high school, and on Sunday they will be able to call themselves graduates.

The seniors will have their final day of classes today, with the rest of the grade levels scheduled to finish on Friday, May 31st. Today is also the rehearsal for the commencement ceremony, as well as the senior awards presentation, where students heading to college in the fall will receive any scholarships they have earned. Commencement will be on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the ADM High School gymnasium. The District does not name a valedictorian, though there will be speeches given by three students. Seniors Kristen Baier, Emma Brown, and Bryce Greer will each address their classmates at the farewell ceremony.

Commencement is free to attend and the public is invited to take part and show their support for the Class of 2019.
