The Panorama soccer teams are getting set for postseason play in the coming weeks.
The boys finished their regular season Monday night with a 13-3 defeat at the hands of Greene County. Their record sits at 5-6 on the season, a three win improvement over last year.
They’ll open substate play on Monday when they face Des Moines Christian at North Polk. Christian currently has a record of 7-7. The two teams met back on May 6 in Panora with Des Moines Christian winning that match by a score of 5-2.
The Panorama girls meanwhile aren’t quite done with the regular season yet, but already know their path for the postseason.
The Lady Panthers have a 9-4 record after beating Greene County 7-1 on Monday. They’ve been led by a phenomenal spring for sophomore Ella Waddle, who has led the team with 21 goals in addition to qualifying for this week’s state track meet in two different events.
The Panorama girls will get a home game to start regional play on May 28 when they host Creston.
