The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session today.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing and resolution for a fiscal year 2019 budget amendment. Next, the Council will consider for approval a pay estimate for Northeast Second Street lighting in phase two of the Wambold Housing Project, and discuss a financial analysis and preliminary plat for phase three. The Council will also look at a site plan for a Casey’s General Store project, consider a resolution for agent agreements, and consider approval of an ordinance for the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) permits. Finally, the Council will hear a proposal on pocket park improvements, and receive an update from Economic Development Director Kristen Renslow on the veterans memorial project.

The Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
