Greene County youngsters looking to play football this fall can sign up now.

The Greene County Youth Athletic Association is now accepting online registrations for their 3rd through 6th grade youth football leagues. Those entering 3rd and 4th grades will learn about the fundamentals of the sport and participate in flag football. Kids going into 5th and 6th grades will be involved in the modified tackle football league.

The registration fee for the 3rd and 4th grade program is $65 per child, and it’s $175 per child for the 5th and 6th grade program. There is a $10 discount per family for each additional child. Plus, there is a $10 early bird registration discount if you sign up before May 31st. There are Jefferson Rotary Club scholarships available for those families in need of financial assistance, because GCYAA wants any 3rd through 6th grader that would like to participate to have the ability to. No registrations will be accepted after August 1st.
