As the current school year winds to a close, the Perry School District invites the public to join them in honoring a pair of educators who will be retiring at the end of the year.

The District is hosting an appreciation reception this Wednesday to honor the retirements of Middle School English Language Learner teacher Cynthia Jafvert, and High School Para-educator Diane Munoz. Jafvert has been with Perry for 26 years, while Munoz is wrapping up 25 years. The reception is free and open to the public, and it will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. at La Poste. Refreshments will be provided.

The Perry administration expressed their gratitude for the two teachers for their long service to the District, and they hope the public will join them in thanking Jafvert and Munoz and wishing them well in retirement.
