The Panorama boys golf team is moving on to districts after a strong showing at their Class 2A sectional on Friday.
The Panthers took second place in the competition on their home course at Lake Panorama National with a total score of 344, five shots back of first place Kuemper Catholic.
The top two teams advance to district play as well as the two best individuals not on those teams. Because Panorama is the host school and finished in the top two the sectional will send a third team, Ogden, to districts as well.
Panorama’s Kolby Shackelford was the second place individual with a score of 80, two shots behind top finisher Corbin Borelli of Kuemper Catholic. Ryan Klinge was one shot behind Shackelford to take third place with an 81.
Panorama will play at districts for a trip to state on Friday, May 17 at Carroll Country Club.
