It’s been an up and down season full of streaky play for the West Central Valley Boys’ Soccer team this spring. Jon Boss and his team have been on streaks all season long. Sometimes, winning streaks, and sometimes losing streaks.

The Wildcats started the season with three straight blowout losses to Bondurant-Farrar, East Sac County, and Creston.

Boss’ team kept its poise and seemed to turn the tide, as WCV found itself of winners of four straight. The offense was electric and aggressive, and the defense had improved a ton. The Wildcats beat Tri-Center, Logan-Magnolia, Atlantic, and Grandview Christian in convincing fashion.

But, in the past couple weeks, West Central Valley has fallen on hard times again, as the Wildcats Boys’ Soccer team has lost another four games straight, as the offense has gone into a disappearing, as of late.

West Central Valley looks to straighten out its flaws and get back into their winning ways on Monday night when the Wildcats host the Carroll Tigers at WCV High School in Stuart, with the game starting at 7:00pm.
