A reminder that a Democratic Presidential candidate is stopping in Jefferson later today.

Iowa native and California Congressman Eric Swalwell is going to be at the Uptown Cafe today at 11:45am. The event is free and open to the public. Swalwell is one of 20 Democrats running for the presidential nomination ahead of the June 2020 primary. He made a campaign stop in Guthrie County last weekend as part of a rural Iowa forum. This will be his third trip to Iowa since announcing his candidacy last month.

The meet and greet event is sponsored by the Greene County Democratic Party.
