The ADM Tigers Softball team will start practice for its 2019 season on this coming Monday. The ADM Baseball team had a one week head start on the Softball team, as the Boys’ team started practice this past Monday.

The ADM Softball team will get just two weeks to condition, throw, hit, pitch, and build chemistry as the Tigers will start play on Monday, May 20 with a road game at Saydel High School.

ADM’s coming off of a State Tournament appearance that landed the Tigers in the semifinals in Fort Dodge last summer. ADM ended its Softball season with a 35-8 record in 2018.

The Tigers will be bringing a relatively young team to the field this year. The team will be made up of nine underclassmen, nine Juniors, and just one Senior, Emily Hatchitt.

ADM will hold its first official practice on Monday afternoon.

The Tigers open season play on Monday, May 20 on the road at Saydel. ADM will play in its home opener on Tuesday, May 21 against Des Moines Roosevelt.
