The wheels are turning for the Stuart committee planning for the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa.
RAGBRAI will be traveling through Stuart on Monday, July 22nd as a meeting town from Atlantic to Winterset. Applications for businesses and organizations wanting to be vendors that day are now available on the City of Stuart website and on the Stuart RAGBRAI 2019 Facebook page. There are different fees for Stuart Chamber businesses, non-Chamber businesses, local and non-local non-profit organizations.
Stuart Chamber of Commerce President Kristy Lonsdale says applications are due June 1st, “So once we get all the vendor forms in then we can go through them all and start assigning places. Now some people have had an actual request of a place to be and you can put that on your form or let us know and if we can provide that we will. So that will be our next step then is to just figure out how many vendors we have and go from there.”
Some vendors may be subject to requiring a temporary food license, which are being issued by the Shelby County Health Department. You can find more information here.
