An Iowa author will be hosting a program at the Casey Public Library this weekend.

Author Beth M. Howard will present “From Pie to Publishing: My Journey to Becoming an Author” tomorrow at 2 p.m. Howard is a former resident of the American Gothic House where from 2010-2014 ran the “Pitchfork Pie Stand.” She has written several books including “Making Piece: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Pie.” She has also been featured in several publications, radio and television programs. This event is free and open to the public.
