The West Central Valley Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field teams will be competing today for a conference championship in the West Central Activities Conference Track Meet in Panorama this afternoon.
Today’s meet at Panorama was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was rescheduled for today due to the inclement, uncooperative weather earlier this week.
The West Central Valley Girls’ team has had trouble at times being competitive, but has also had moments of strength and optimism. The WCV Wildcats Boys’ Track and Field team has been very strong this season.
This year’s Boys’ team has won two meets this spring, which is the first time that has happened for the Wildcats since 2003. A big step in the right direction for West Central Valley Boys’ Track Coach, Eric Addy, and his team.
The Wildcats have had the luxury of great talent this season from Senior, Cole Arnburg, who has shattered school records multiple times, and underclassmen Jayden Dixon, and Louden Foster have continued to impress.
Tonight’s Conference Meet in Panorama will begin at 4:30 this afternoon.
