Panorama High School is looking for a new head girls basketball coach after longtime coach Dan Druivenga’s contract was not renewed.
Druivenga has led the Lady Panthers for more than 25 years, amassing nearly 450 career wins and four state tournament appearances. A job listing for the coaching position was posted online on Wednesday.
Athletic Director Erin Kirtley says Druivenga is leaving the program on good terms and expressed appreciation for everything he’s done at Panorama during his tenure. Kirtley said she’ll be accepting applications over the coming weeks and hopes to have the position filled by the end of the school year. Druivenga’s assistants are expected to be among those considered to take over.
Panorama finished the season with a record of 22-2 and made it to the regional championship before falling to Dike-New Hartford. They have won at least 20 games each of the past three seasons, including a state tournament bid in 2018.
