On Monday, the ADM Baseball team started practice for its 2019 summer season, and next Monday, May 6th, the ADM Softball team will follow suit and begin practice for their season.

The ADM Softball team is coming off of a very successful 2018 summer season, when the Lady Tigers compiled a total record of 35 wins and only 8 losses. The final loss of the season came at the State Tournament in Fort Dodge when ADM fell to Des Moines Hoover by the score of 8-3 in the semifinals. The Huskies had hot bats in that game, and ADM was never able to recover.

The Tigers won their quarterfinals game over Newton in a high scoring affair 9-8, before falling to Des Moines Hoover.

ADM will start its 2019 Softball season on Monday, May 20 at Saydel, on Des Moines’ Northside, and will open at home on the following night versus Des Moines Roosevelt in Adel.
