In accordance with her wishes, Helen Louise Blaisdell, 94, of Perry has been cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at Murdock Funeral Home. Burial of the cremains will take place at that time in Violet Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include daughter Kathy Hansen of Urbandale; son Gene Blaisdell of Denver, CO; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
