A free presentation in Jefferson will focus on those looking to ready their “greenthumbs” for the upcoming gardening season.

Jean Walker, the “Plant Doctor”, will be leading a discussion “Awakening You Garden” tomorrow at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center. She will be talking about the proper way to prepare garden beds by cleaning, cultivating and fertilizing them; along with the best times to plant vegetable seeds in Greene County.

The free program is at 1pm and free-will donations will be accepted for the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board. No registration is necessary and it is open to the public.
