The Drake Relays continue again today and tomorrow on the blue track at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.

A select group of athletes from the Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field teams of ADM High School qualified to compete at the Drake Relays.

Last night, ADM Sophomore, Nate Mueller competed in the Boys’ 3,200 Meter Run. Mueller was the first Tiger to compete at the Drake Relays this year. He was 17th in 9:53.76 in a field with the best runners from all sizes of schools in Iowa.

Today, ADM will have athletes competing in two events in the Capital City. This morning, Senior, Lucas Heitz will run in the 110 meter high hurdles at 8:30, and the Girls’ 4×400 meter relay team will run this evening at approximately 8:30.

Tomorrow, The ADM Girls’ 4×100 meter relay team will run at the Drake Relays at around 9:30 in the morning. ADM’s Anna Kenny, will run in the Girls’ 400 meter hurdles at shortly after 1pm, and Nate Mueller will run in the Boys’ 1,600 meter Saturday afternoon at 4:30.
