After losing their first three games of the 2019 season, Jon Boss lit a fire in his team, and now the West Central Valley Boys’ Soccer team is one of the hottest in this part of the state.
The Wildcats started their winning ways just two weeks ago, gaining confidence, and picking up their first win against Tri-Center at home in Stuart, and it’s been nearly smooth sailing ever since.
West Central Valley went 2-0 at a Saturday tournament in Atlantic a couple weeks back. Then, the Wildcats defeated the home school, Atlantic 2-1, and also notched a win against Logan-Magnolia 3-1. West Central Valley downed Grand View Christian in Stuart last week by the score of 10-1 in dominating fashion.
On Monday, the Wildcats traveled to Greene County and fell to the Rams by the score of 11-1.
The Wildcats look to jump back on their hot streak tonight in Carrol at Keumper Catholic.
