The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday.
The meeting began with the Council approving the conveyance of 101 East Market Street to Michael and Mary Arganbright, with a contingency that the City has the option to purchase the property back if the single-story dwelling is not built within 18 months. Next, the Council approved setting June 21st as the date for city wide cleanup, and they approved switching their life insurance provider from Reliance Standard to The Hartford Group due to an increased premium from their former provider.
Finally, the Council approved resolutions for City security camera policies and procedures, and to oppose the State House and Senate property tax reform bills that are under consideration in the current legislative session.
