Springbrook State Park is hosting a couple programs for those wishing to try a new water sport.

Iowa Department of Natural Resources Training Specialist Anne Riordan is hosting kayak and paddling instruction from 10 a.m.-noon this Saturday, and from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4th at Springbrook Lake. These events are free to attend and kayaks and life jackets will be provided. Those six-years-old and up can participate, but children under 10-years-old are asked to bring an adult.
