The Boys’ and Girls’ Golf teams of West Central Valley High School in Stuart will be hosting a Co-Ed quad meet with Ogden, Woodward-Granger, and Madrid at the Wildcats home course, 5×80 Golf Course in Menlo.
Traca Waddell’s Girls’ team has been led by three different girls, Senior, Darby Davis, along with Hunter Godwin, and Emma Johnson. Waddell has been in a rebuilding mode with her Girls’ golf program, as she worked to more than double the number of girls playing golf this year versus last season. The three leaders mentioned have all scored 53, 50, and 55 on their best 9 hole scores, respectively.
For Dave Doely’s Boys’ Golf team, two players have stood out for them. Sophomore, Grant Caltrider is averaging a 39, scoring his best 9 holes of 35 strokes a couple weeks back at Jester Park. The solid number two player is Track and Field start, Cole Arnburg, also golfs for Doely’s club and is averaging a score of 43 for 9 holes of play, with his best 9 holes of the season being recorded with 39 strokes. Brandon Broerman has been Doely’s consistent third guy, averaging a 56 for the Wildcats.
West Central Valley will tee off with Ogden, Woodward-Granger, and Madrid this afternoon at 4:00 from 5×80 Golf Course in Menlo.
