2:00am: A Traffic Stop in the 400 Block of 220th Street resulted in Rayne Nash of Fort Dodge being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”

4:51am: A Traffic Stop at Elm and 220 th Street resulted in Anthony Pallard of FL. Being cited for, “Fail to Obey a Stop Sign.”

11:43am: An officer was advised of a stray dog running freely in the 200 Block of North Grimmell Road. The officer located the animal, but could not get near it to capture it.

1:45pm: Bob Owens reported he had received the Grandparent Scam Phone Call. The caller advised his grandson was in jail in Chicago and needed bail money. Bob recognized it as a scam call and did not give any information to the caller. He did not incur a loss.

5:19pm: Arnie Steinke reported the Theft of a box of cookies from 1001 West Washington Street.

7:20pm: Lauren Schulte requested assistance at 108 East Central Avenue #58. She advised she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. Officers arrived and spoke to both parties involved. Both advised of mutual pushing between themselves. As the male was attempting to load his property to move out, an intoxicated Schulte was interfering with the process. As the officers were advising her to go back inside her trailer, she assaulted one of the officers by pushing him in the chest. Lauren Marie Verle Schulte, 24 of Jefferson was arrested for, “Assault on a Peace Officer – Serious, and Disorderly Conduct – Simple.”

7:40pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of North Elm Street.

9:48pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance Service with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of West Vest Street.
