With the current school year winding down, the Perry School District Music Department is preparing for their spring concerts.

The first showcase is this evening at 7 p.m., featuring the youngest of Perry’s instrumentalists in the 6th Grade Band Concert. The next performance after that will be the Bluejay Concert on Thursday, April 25th at 6 p.m., with the vocal talents of the Perry Elementary choirs. Following that, it will be the high school’s turn, as the choir and band will be combined for their Spring Concert on Monday, April 29th at 7 p.m. In addition to that, the 29th will also be the kickoff of the Art Department’s Senior Showcase, with pieces created by the Class of 2019 displayed in the Performing Arts Center.

The music will then continue in May, with the middle school’s choirs performing a concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7th. The final event of the year will be on Tuesday, May 14th at 7 p.m., featuring the middle school bands. Each of the concerts are free to attend, and will be held in the PAC. Also as a reminder, the 6th grade instrument rental night will be Monday, May 6th at 7 p.m. in the elementary’s multipurpose room.
