Thursday, April 18th

2:05am: An officer assisted the Greene County Sheriff’s Office with an arrest at the intersection of 220th and Orchard Avenue for OWI.

6:51am: The Boone County Sheriff’s Office reported a careless driver on Highway 30 traveling towards Jefferson.

2:02pm: An officer responded to Sparky’s gas station (600 East Highway 30) for a possible fire. A pop cooler was found to be overheating. There was no damage.

7:17pm: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of East Lincoln Way and Locust Street, John Reed of Jefferson was issued a citation for Excessive Speed.

9:01pm: Stacey Schmidt reported a careless driver on Highway 30 traveling westbound from Grand Junction.

11:34pm: An officer responded to a small ditch fire at the intersection of M Avenue and 220th. The officer extinguished the fire.
