The annual Perry Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt is this Saturday, and kids from 2 to 8-years-old and their families are invited to enjoy the free festivities.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Weise Park shelter area, with the Easter Bunny on hand to take pictures with attendees. The hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m., with different areas for different age groups. All the candy and prizes have been donated by local businesses, and the Parks and Rec Department offers their thanks to Ben’s Five and Dime, Hy-Vee, and Casey’s General Stores for sponsoring the hunt. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the McCreary Community Building.
As a reminder, the McCreary Center will be closed this Sunday in observance of Easter. To learn more about the annual Perry Easter Egg Hunt, click the link below to visit the Facebook event page.
