The Dallas County Democratic Party is hosting their annual Spring Fundraiser Dinner this month, and several big names will be in attendance this year.
The event is being held on Thursday, April 25th at the Country Lane Lodge, located just east of Adel. The keynote speaker will be U.S. Representative Cindy Axne, who was elected this past November by Iowa’s Third Congressional District. The evening will also include appearances by a pair of Presidential hopefuls, with U.S. Senator Tulsi Gabbard from Hawaii and California businessman Andrew Yang planning to attend. There will also be an assortment of other elected Democratic officials at the event, as well as a possible U.S. Senate candidate.
The cost for tickets is $35 for adults, $10 for students, and free for kids 10 and under, and they must be purchased online by this Saturday. Doors will open for the event at 5 p.m., with cocktail hour until 6 and a silent auction going through 7. The dinner will begin at 6 p.m., with the program to start at 6:45. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the Dallas County Democratic Party to support campaigns during the 2020 general election.
