Daily patrons of the Perry Public Library are advised that this week they won’t be able to visit every day.

Library Director Mary Murphy says they will be closed both Thursday and Friday, as they prepare to roll out the new Atriuum library system. “We are switching over our software, and so what’s happening on the 18th and 19th is that we will be migrating our data and the staff will be training for the new software. So if you’ve ever been frustrated by our software online — of reserving a book or anything — this should be more user-friendly for everybody to do that online.”

In addition to being closed Thursday and Friday, Murphy reminds patrons that the library will be closed this Sunday for Easter. She apologizes for any inconvenience for patrons, and thanks them for their patience. For more information, stop in or call the Perry Library at 515-465-3569.
