The Dallas County Secondary Roads Department has begun construction on a stretch of road adversely affected by the recent flooding event, which will cause the road to be closed the rest of the week.

Work on the portion of H Avenue between 310th Trail and 320th Way began Tuesday morning, and is expected to be wrapped up by Friday at 5 p.m., weather permitting. The road is located south of Old Highway 6, east of Redfield. During construction, local traffic is asked to find alternate routes, as the road will be impassable.
