Due to structural issues with the grain elevator site in Scranton, Landus Cooperative has chosen to close it.

Landus Cooperative officials determined that structural integrity of the concrete with the elevator was deemed unsafe and for that reason, grain operations will end May 3rd and all employees will be moved to another office. In a letter addressed to Landus Cooperative members, they were notified of other changes the eventual site closing will have on other operations. Agronomy sales and services will continue through the spring and early summer at the Scranton location until it closes for the winter and will then re-open for agronomy-only next spring. Through August 2nd, the Scranton office will remain staffed to serve agronomy customers and then the office will reopen next spring. Effective August 2nd, bagged feed sales will end at the site, and those products will be available at the Bayard and Jefferson Beef Center.

Those who have delivery contracts in place, Landus Cooperative will work to transition to another location. You can contact a grain marketer anytime at 877-778-2226. Landus Cooperative understands that the change impacts their operation, but they are also concerned for the safety of their employees and customers.
