Thursday, April 11th

6:01am: An officer checked on a Business Alarm Activation at 2204 North Mulberry Street. The business was secure.

6:50am: Julie Byerly reported a Stop Sign that was blown down at Cedar and Russell Streets. City crews were advised.

7:36am: Lindsey Wasson captured a stray dog in the 200 Block of North Wilson Ave. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.

9:36am: The DHS Intake Center advised an officer of a possible Sexual Assault, which had occurred in Jefferson. The officer is investigating.

10:59am: An officer completed a Funeral Escort.

3:17pm: Don Yepsen reported the wind was blowing trash out of a dumpster at 507 West Madison Street.

4:49pm: A caller advised of a group of juveniles smoking in Washington Park. The officer spoke with the group, but found no smoking items.

7:30pm: Oly’s Corner reported a male subject yelling at the cashier for not cashing a Two-Party Check. The male had left on his own.

11:41pm: Christopher Miller called and advised his Debit Card had been stolen from his residence in Boone recently. He advised his bank advised him it had just been used at the Wild Rose Casino at 777 Wild Rose Lane. The officers responded to the Casino, but had nothing to work with to know which of the many customers present may have the card.
