Tomorrow will be our country’s third President’s birthday and everyone is invited to celebrate the occasion with a special treat in Jefferson.
The Thomas Jefferson Gardens board members will be serving ice cream in honor of Thomas Jefferson’s birthday tomorrow from 10am to noon at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center. Board members will be using the original ice cream recipe that Jefferson used during his lifetime when historians believe he brought the tasty treat back from France. Plus, attendees can listen to music provided by a brass ensemble from the Greene County High School band.
The event is free and open to the public.
