Jacob Eakes, age 41 of 3765 475th St., SW, Iowa City was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of domestic abuse assault.

Timothy Bennett, age46 of Grimes was traveling north on W Ave when he stopped at the stop sign and then began to turn slowly on to Highway 44 when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Lund, age 39 of Clive. No injuries reported. Damage to Lund’s vehicle estimated at $10000.00 and $5000.00 to Bennett’s. Lund was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

April 10, 2019
Angela McCoy, age 48 of Ogden was traveling in the 26000 block of Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a raccoon. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1500.00.
