The ADM Boys’ Track and Field team will be back in competitive form tonight, as they travel to the southeast, in an Invitational at Pella Christian. The Tigers will face off against teams from all around the state, including host school, Pella Christian, Centerville, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Lynnville-Sully, PCM, Pella, and Pleasantville.
Last week, in competition at its Home Invitational, the Hugh Norman Relays, in Adel, ADM dominated the competition with a team total 151 points. The next closest finisher, Carlisle, was more than 22 points behind ADM.
ADM flexed its strength in the distance events as Nate Mueller finished first in the 800 meter run, and 3200 meter run. Tigers’ distance runner, Ethan Juergens, also netted a victory for ADM in the 1600 meter run. ADM saw a first place finish in the High Jump event, from Tate Stine-Smith, as well.
The Tigers also racked up two victories in the relay events last Tuesday.
Tonight’s action at Pella Christian will begin with the first events starting at 4:45.
