The Panorama girls track and field team was tops in the team standings for the second time in a week Thursday, taking the title at Van Meter with 164 points.
Lydia Knapp again won the discus, while Bailey Beckman took first in the long jump and Kassidy Bremer was tops in the 200-meters. The relay teams finished first in the 4×100, 4×200, distance medley and sprint medley.
Coach Greg Thompson said he was expecting a slight letdown after performing well at home on Tuesday and missing four girls because of illness and soccer. He said the team is already in midseason form and he’s excited for their possibilities.
The boys got a first place finish in the sprint medley relay. Other top five finishes were third place for Koltin Sloss in discus and fourth place for Gracen Welberg in the long jump. The relay teams were third in the distance medley and fourth in the 4×100, 4×400 and 4×800.
The Panther track teams will next compete Tuesday at Earlham.
