Greene County completed in the Van Meter Coed track & field meet on Thursday. Boys’ coach Chad Morton took a partial squad and did not enter all the events. Girls’ coach Derek Merk took a full roster.

The Greene County girls had no first place finishes, but did place second four times. Sophomore Brianna Osterson was involved in all of the runner-up events, including the long jump (15′ 8-1/2″), 200 meter dash (:27.92), 400 meter dash (1:05.89), and the 4 x 100 meter relay (:54.03) with Paige Heaning, Maddy Sigler, and Makala Kafer.

Incomplete boys’ results were sent to Raccoon Valley Radio. The 4 x 100 meter relay of Tyler Teeples, John Rosado, Brent Riley, and Colby Kafer ran :46.12. The 4 x 200 with Teeples, Jaxon Warnke, Riley, and Kafer were timed in 1:36.08. Carter Morton went 6′ 4″ in the high jump and Tyler Miller threw the shot 46′ 5″.
