A construction project has begun in the City of Adel, and it’s expected to disrupt traffic for quite some time.

Crews started Wednesday, working on paving a section of Meadow Road between Grace Lutheran Church and Highway 169. The project is expected to last four to six weeks, depending on weather. During that time, local motorists are asked to find an alternate route if needing to travel on Meadow Road. Anyone with questions is encouraged to reach out to Adel City Hall at 515-993-4525.
