Adel-Desoto-Minburn High School has been the center of attention for athletic events all week. Monday started with the Girls’ Soccer team in their shut out win over Carroll. Tuesday, ADM hosted the Hugh Norman Relays, that saw the Boys’ win, and the Girls’ finished strong in second. Yesterday, the ADM Girls’ Golf team teed off their season at River Valley Golf Course. So, why would the weekend look any different for Tiger fans?
Friday and Saturday, the ADM Tigers Boys’ Soccer team will be hosting a group of five other teams for a weekend tournament. Teams traveling to Adel include Des Moines East, Glenwood, Harlan, Southeast Polk, and Waverly-Shell Rock.
On Monday, the ADM Boys’ Soccer team opened up play for the season on the road in Carroll, as they shut out Carroll 5-0.
Friday’s action will feature 3 games, with the first starting at 5pm with DM East facing off against Waverly-Shell Rock, the second game will begin at approximately 6:30pm when Harlan takes on the Rams of SE Polk. ADM will play the late game on Friday with a start time of 8:00. The Tigers will take on Glenwood.
Saturday will feature another six games of soccer, with each team playing two games on Saturday.
