An Ankeny woman was found guilty of violating her probation a few months after conviction of a felony drug charge in Guthrie County.
Court documents show 32-year-old Whitney Lynn Muhlenburg was convicted this week of violating her probation, and was sentenced to stay on her probation and be admitted to the Fresh Start residential correctional facility to stay until maximum benefits are achieved. Muhlenburg must also obtain a substance abuse evaluation. Muhlenburg was released from custody until bed space can be secured at the Fresh Start facility. She must also pay $1,000 in room and board fees for being incarcerated at the Guthrie County Jail for 20 days. Muhlenburg was originally sentenced last December to three years probation and a suspended 10-year prison sentence for a charge of delivery of less than five grams of methamphetamine, a class C felony.
