The ACGC boys and girls track teams were both in action Tuesday as they kicked off their outdoor seasons. Senior Madison McDermott and junior Kate Crawford both grabbed individual titles for the girls at Greene County.

McDermott won the shot put title with a throw of 35 feet, 8.5 inches and also picked up a 2nd place finish in the discus. Crawford took all three mid to long-distance titles (800, 1500, 3000), taking the 800 meter seven seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher. The 4×800 meter relay team also grabbed the top spot, finishing over 20 seconds ahead of 2nd place Gilbert.

Other top-six finishes include: sophomore Mady Kelsey (3rd-shot put), sophomore Rylee Sloss (3rd-800, 5th-1500), sophomore Audrey Stowe (4th-400m hurdles), sophomore Sophie Danker (5th-400), freshman Chloe Largent (3rd-high jump), shuttle hurdle relay (6th), 4×400 meter relay (6th), and distance medley relay (6th).

Both squads will head to Perry this afternoon for a coed invitational where first events begin around 4:45.
