A popular program is returning to the Perry Public Library in April, and people wanting to take part are encouraged to sign up now because it will fill up fast. The library is offering a “Color Burst Tie-Dye Bear Workshop,” where kids can get their own customizable stuffed animal.
Attendees will be given a 14-inch plain white teddy bear to stuff, “wish on a star,” name, and decorate in a multi-colored tie-dye style pattern. Cost to participate is $6 per person, and payment must be made in advance at registration. The workshop is intended for kids aged 8 and up and there is only room for 20 participants. The program will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 10:30 a.m.
For more information or to register, stop in or call the library at 515-465-3569 and talk with Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel.
