The Wildcats Boys’ Track and Field team of West Central Valley High School have yet to spend a single minute in action this season, but that hasn’t deterred their coach, Eric Addy, from seeing his team’s potential and knowing just what kind of weapons he posseses on his roster.
In an interview with Raccoon Valley Radio, it was acknowledged that his 4×400 meter relay team has received the most amount of publicity and attention, Addy mentioned that two of his distance runners, Louden Foster, and Freshman, Jaden Dixon, have the opportunity and talent to compete at a very high level in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter events.
Addy mentioned that last year Louden Foster didn’t get the attention he deserved because he missed an at large bid to get to state due to two others competitors from their district that finished in the Top 5 in the distance events, statewide. Foster will have an opportunity to redeem himself this season, as his coach alluded that he’s hungry to get to state.
Foster and Dixon will run their first events of the season for West Central Valley in one week, next Tuesday, in Earlham.
