The ADM Tigers Girls’ Track team has just one more indoor event before they brave the elements for the remainder of the season outdoors.

The Lady Tigers Track team has seen some early season success from an unlikely source. Distance runner, Freshman, Olivia Tollari has been the headliner through the first few events this Spring. Tollari impressed the competition and the crowd last Saturday at the Buena Vista Invitational in Storm Lake.

Tollari finished in the Top 5 in two separate events, she was third in the 400 meter dash, and she also finished fourth in the long jump. In addition to her success over the weekend, Tollari also finished runner up in the 400 meter dash last Tuesday at Wartburg, only trailing 4A standout, Natalie Clement, of Southeast Polk.

The final indoor event for the ADM Girls’ Track team will be this weekend, on Saturday in Dubuque. The first outdoor event will be next Tuesday in Earlham for the Early Bird Invitational.
