One Paton-Churdan student is heading back to the Iowa High School Individual All-State Speech Festival for a second consecutive year.

Senior Megan Carey was nominated in prose and will perform at the University of Northern Iowa on Monday, March 25th. Not only is this the second straight year that she’s been nominated for All-State, but also in the same category as prose. She received straight Division I-ratings from all three judges at the state contest earlier this month and received the nomination from her center to go to All-State.

The public is invited to watch her perform in the Maucker Union on UNI’s campus at 1:30pm on March 25th.
