6:08 pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle on 144 Diagonal and W Avenue.

Tuesday, March 12th
10:01 am: A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Department in the 400 block of South Georgia Street.
10:11 am: A deputy assisted a motorist in the 1500 block of 235th Street.
6:14 pm: Jason Allen Thede (47) of Bouton, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
7:48 pm: A deputy assisted with a civil issue in the 900 block of Sand Street in Churdan.

Wednesday, March 13th
4:37 am: A deputy tried to locate water over the road on 210th Street near D Avenue and did not locate any water on the roadway.
5:08 pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near W Avenue.
5:19 pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 1000 block of State Street, Scranton.
6:21 pm: A deputy assisted a resident in the 300 block of Cartwright Street, Rippey, with setting up a sump pump in their basement.
7:48 pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person walking on U Avenue near Grand Junction.
11:10 pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the ditch full of water on E Avenue near 300th Street. There was no driver present and the vehicle was towed from the ditch.

Thursday, March 14th
3:54 am: A deputy investigated an identity theft complaint in the 700 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.
10:23 am: The Sheriff investigated a single vehicle accident on E Avenue near 250th Street. Bobbie Kelly 40 of West Des Moines hit water with her 2016 Mazda 6 and hydroplaned into the west ditch. The vehicle was a total loss.
2:01 pm: A deputy and a DNR Officer collected an injured Eagle on U Avenue near Paton. The eagle was taken to Carroll to a rehab center for birds.
2:40 pm: The Sheriff arrested Whitney Cambell-Perez 21 of Coon Rapids for an arrest warrant for harassment 2nd degree.
3:01 pm: Whitney Campbell- Perez 21 of Coon Rapids was booked into the jail for harassment 2nd degree.
4:45 pm: Michael Hamilton 41 of Slater was booked into the jail for two probation violations.
6:40 pm: A deputy assisted an ambulance with a medical call on U Avenue near Rippey.

Friday, March 15th
5:09 am: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Main Street, Grand Junction.
6:48 am: A deputy investigated a report of a picnic table in the roadway near 190th Street and N Avenue. It was found to be a road closed sign that had fallen over.
10:43 am: A deputy assisted the U.S. Marshalls with the arrest of John Minnehan 63 of Churdan for federal arrest warrants.
2:18 pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check on a vehicle at J Avenue and 237th Street.
3:37 pm: A deputy assisted the Webster County Sheriff’s Office with trying to locate a runaway.

Saturday, March 16th
1:32 am: A deputy investigated a theft in the 400 block of Harding Street, Churdan.
1:43 pm: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 1800 block of 150th Street.
3:33 pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on Neola Avenue near 310th Street.
4:05 pm: A deputy investigated a vehicle on the railroad tracks at 18th Street, Grand Junction.
6:20 pm: A deputy assisted an Iowa State Patrolman with the arrest of Taylor King 26 of Churdan for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
7:41 pm: A deputy tried to locate an animal in the ditch on 220th Street near Hillcrest Avenue.
8:00 pm: Taylor King 26 of Churdan was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
8:02 pm: A deputy investigated a gas drive off at Casey’s in Grand Junction.
10:20 pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Harding Street, Churdan.

Sunday, March 17th
5:10 am: A deputy assisted Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 500 block of Main Street, Scranton.
1:40 pm: Jerimiah Jordan 30 of Scranton was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
3:54 pm: A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 800 block of Main Street, Scranton.
4:49 pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 400 block of 2nd Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
