Guthrie County Relay for Life is rolling through 2019 with an annual Irish-tinged event.

The “St. Paddy’s Day-Kiss the Blarney Stone” Relay for Life 9 Pin Handicap Individual Tournament is taking place next Saturday at Incredibowl in Guthrie Center. Attendees wanting to help in the fight against cancer can reserve a spot today, but walk-ins are also welcome. There will be 1st-3rd place cash prizes, door prizes, 50/50 drawings, and more.

Kim Durst with the American Cancer Society says there will also be information on different cancers and a sign-up available for the main Relay for Life event in June, “Whether you’re a pro bowler or you just want to come out and have fun. I mean it’s really open to everybody, it’s nothing serious. Wear your green, we’re going to have prizes for the best St. Patrick’s Day costumes and so it’s just going to be a fun day for everyone.”

Cost is $25 to participate and competition times will be at 3, 6, and 9 p.m. with check-in 30 minutes prior to bowling.
